A – General Terms

Definitions: In these Terms and Conditions, “Client”, “You”, and “Your” refer to the customer using the auto locksmith services of Urgent Auto Locksmith. “Company”, “We”, “Our”, and “Us” refer to IVCK SERVICES LTD. “Party” refers to either the Client or the Company, or both.

Agreement: These terms apply to all services provided, including any auto locksmithing, car key replacement, and lockout services. By accepting a quote or estimate from us, you enter into a legally binding agreement for the provision of our services.

Modifications: We reserve the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Please check this page regularly for any updates.

Refusal of Service: Urgent Auto Locksmith may refuse to provide locksmith services at our sole discretion, including installations or repairs involving your materials.
B – Our Liability

Vehicle Damage: We take all necessary precautions to prevent damage to your vehicle during our auto locksmith services. However, we cannot be held responsible for any damage, cleaning costs, or related expenses arising during service provision.

Exclusions: We are not liable for damage caused by aftermarket vehicle modifications, prior work, or existing issues in your vehicle.

Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for loss or damage unless caused by negligence leading to injury or death. This does not affect your legal rights.

Parts Ownership: Any parts supplied by Urgent Auto Locksmith remain our property until payment is received in full.

Sourcing of Parts: All parts are sourced from reputable suppliers within the UK and internationally.
C – Use of Personal Information

Data Collection: We may request personal information, including proof of identity, before providing services. Refusal to provide this information may result in the service being declined.

Data Usage: Your personal information will be used to:
- Deliver services,
- Process payments,
- Notify you about related services (you can opt-out at any time).

Data Sharing: We may share your data with credit reference agencies for verification purposes but will not share it with other third parties.

Call Recording: Phone calls may be recorded for quality assurance and training.
D – Pricing and Payment

Service Cost: The cost for services, including VAT, is provided in the invoice, and may include both labor and materials.

Estimates: All quotes are estimates and may change based on additional materials, labor, or unforeseen vehicle conditions.
- Scheduled (booked) services can be subject to a booking deposit of £120 or more when the quote exceeds 150 GBP.

Payment: Payments can be made via cash, credit/debit card, or bank transfer. A deposit may be required for services exceeding £150.

Custom Parts: For custom parts, a deposit equal to the value of the part is required.

Additional Charges: Additional fees may apply for vehicles with aftermarket modifications or pre-existing issues.
E – Bookings and Cancellations

Cancellation Fees: A cancellation fee is applicable if you cancel after booking or after our technician’s arrival:
- £60 within 60 minutes of booking,
- £120 after 60 minutes, but before our technician arrives.

Service Termination: If the service has started, you must pay the full invoice amount.

Rescheduling: You may reschedule a job once, within 14 working days, with at least 24 hours’ notice, without additional charges.
- A £120 charge also applies if our technician or Contractor arrives at your location and the service you request cannot be completed due to other vehicle issues, incorrect service requests or incorrect or defective parts supplied by You.

Custom Part Cancellation: If a deposit has been paid for a custom part, no refund will be issued if the job is canceled as the part is to be ordered specially for your car.
F – Warranty and Defects
Warranty Policy Overview
We stand behind the quality of our products and services, offering a comprehensive warranty on all keys and physical items we provide. However, the specifics of this warranty depend on the nature of the work done on the vehicle. Please note, labor is not covered under warranty; this applies to services such as key coding, lockouts, and inspections.
Warranty A – Key Replacement
Our key replacement warranty covers the entire key assembly, which includes the casing, blade, and electronics. The key comes with a 12-month warranty, which covers defects that are not caused by user error or misuse.
Important Notes:
- Liquid Detection: All keys have liquid detection features. If, upon inspection, we find signs of liquid exposure, the warranty will be voided.
- Normal Wear & Tear: The warranty excludes damage from anything other than normal wear and tear. Any other damage will result in the warranty being voided.
Warranty B – Key Repairs
This warranty applies to both electrical and cosmetic repairs, each covered by a 12-month period.
Warranty B.1 – Electrical Repairs
We cover repairs to the electronics, but only for the specific areas we worked on. Modern keys are complex, and there may be additional points of failure we did not address. If the same issue reoccurs after a repair, it will be covered—provided the cause is the same. Any new issues will require a separate repair.
Warranty B.2 – Cosmetic Repairs
Cosmetic repairs include the replacement of parts such as blades, key cases, and buttons. We use only the highest-quality materials for these repairs. If any issues arise with the repair, we will fix it at no additional cost. However, damage beyond normal wear and tear, including accidental damage, will void this warranty and will require a new repair.
Exclusions & Additional Notes:
- Lost Keys: Loss of a key is not covered under warranty. Our warranty only applies to defects.
- Accidental Damage: Damage caused by dropping the key, accidents, or other physical impacts is not covered.
- Cosmetic Blemishes: Scratches or other minor marks that do not affect functionality are not covered.
- Inspection Requirement: Warranty claims are subject to inspection by our locksmith to determine that the issue was not caused by user error.
- Batteries: Although we use high-quality batteries (e.g., Panasonic, Varta, GP), there is no warranty on the batteries supplied with keys.
- Emblems and Badges: Any emblem or car badge on the keys is not covered by the warranty.
- Service Location: Warranty work must be performed at the same location where the original service was completed.
If, after inspection, it is determined that the issue is not covered under warranty, we may charge a call-out fee. This will be explained before scheduling any work.
Defective Service Warranty
If a defect is identified within 12 months of service, and we determine that it was not caused by negligence or intentional damage, we will repair the fault at no extra cost. However, if the defect results from deliberate or negligent damage, we reserve the right to charge the full repair fee.

G – Legal Conditions

Governing Law: This agreement is governed by English law. You cannot transfer your rights under this contract without our written consent.
